She would of been their great grandaughter. I been stuck on tracing my Souders line pass my great grandfather Daniel Wm Souders born about 1803. Recently I found some records with variamt spellings .I'm trying to connect the dots. A Jacob Phillip Stouder married a Elizabeth Schweigern in 1780. The land deed I found states that That a Phillip and Elizabeth Stouder recieved property from John Schweyer deceased 1808. Elizabeth is mentioned as his daughter. There's a George Michael Kuhn who married Sussana Schroyer. I think George was born 1753. I'm thinking he is Phillip's Brother, but not sure. Do you know the extended tree of this Sussana Shroyer. I'm wondering is Elizabeth might be a sister or first cousin?

Regards
John Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07360451720181644072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1261214232116902581.post-84784233589414599892019-06-17T22:35:49.184-07:002019-06-17T22:35:49.184-07:00This has been very helpful in researching the Schr...This has been very helpful in researching the Schreyer surname. I am interested in the 4th son Jacob born May 1723, who married a Margaret. I have been able to prove one daughter named Susanna born 1748, married George Ohler who died in 1768, then married Abraham Forney. Elizabeth Schreyer born 1756(?)marriedGeorge Ott.

There was another daughter listed in the PA Pioneers-Anna Margaret born 1750, and another daughter named Catherine born 1758, who married one Conrad Dotterer. Another daughter may have been Hannah Schreyer born ?? who married a Samuel Singer.

Any info on these 3 daughters would be appreciated. bettyollar@aol.combettyollar@aol.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02693044500060799957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1261214232116902581.post-77194896773485510632016-12-13T13:53:12.278-08:002016-12-13T13:53:12.278-08:00I started reading this blog as I am related to The...I started reading this blog as I am related to The schreyer family from Friedelshiem. First Elisabetha whose mother was Barbara and her father Heinrich Kroff lived 300 km n of Rhineland - I have church records. Elisabetha had two sisters - after Heinrich died Barbara and her 3 daughters moved to Rhineland where she remarried. Christian and Elisabetha had 5 children - all conspiculously listed at Reformed church. The lie that they could not find Jacob just keeps getting passed down. They came to America with those 5 children. Their only daughter Catherina married Mathias Marker whom Christian listed in his will. He left Mathias a cow. I have German and English version. The Four boys all went to Annapolis to get naturalized so they could inherit in will. George lived next door to Catherina and Mathias. There is a winery in Friedelsheim named Schreyer but they won't respond in English or German. Upon recently acquiring his Mexican War military papers, we have found that he was born about 1828 in Butler County, OH. He enlisted in the US Army on 3 May 1847 in Hamilton, Butler County, OH. He was married on 22 Jan 1852 in Fountain County, IN to Pauline Ray. He had my ancestor Clara Jane Shroyer on 5 Nov 1853. Don't know when he died, but looks to have died between 1858 and 1860 as his son was born about 1858 and he wasn't on the 1860 census.

Can anyone assist me?

Thank you!
StephanieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01410415420540472441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1261214232116902581.post-70907308505580082292012-02-09T10:40:09.986-08:002012-02-09T10:40:09.986-08:00Im a Shroyer from Central Indiana, I currently liv...Im a Shroyer from Central Indiana, I currently live in Central PA and would love to know more. I was finally able to fit some mismatched pieces of my Shroyer puzzle together. Many thanks to whoever wrote it, Tallula Jane, perhaps?

Now I come begging for anybody's help. My Shroyer genealogy is fairly solid at this point, except for The missing Tennessee years of John George Shroyer, b 1777, MD, and his son, Levi, b. 1805, TN, presumably in Blount County.

I found them again in Orange Co., Indiana in the 1830s and was able to follow them to Marion and Wayne Counties, Illinois.

Can anybody help me with the years between MD and IN? I've searched the better part of the Eastern half of Tennessee with absolutely no luck. I must be missing a vital clue somewhere.

Thanks in advance, cousins.
