They were married on MArch 24 1962 at the United Methodist Church in Cainsville, Mo by the Rev. Cleo Colville. Curtis is the son of Elza and Ada Matson. Virginia is the daughter of Harley and Silvia Flanagan. They have two children, Kevin Matson and wife Kathy and Kerry Matson, and two grandchildren, Brittany Matson and Brandon Matson. Also, what other things do they have to pay for? Essentially, yes. And in Adair County, that charge is $35 a day. Those sentenced to serve time in the jail are not required to pay before they stay. The number of days they end up serving is sent to the originating court and the court collects the board bill payments. The $35 pays for many of the basic needs and utilities the average person has to pay. It's figured in with the cost of food, cost to keep the lights on, heating, cooling and hot water," said John Axson, the Corrections Director at the Adair County Sheriff's Office. "For a large facility it does take a lot to run this." As for health care, the court often orders inmates pay for the cost of medical treatment while in custody. If cost of damage is caused by the inmate, in the past they've been ordered to pay reimbursement for the cost of damage either through court order or probation.
