Aunt Mary just called to tell me that Fred meant for me to keep the dvds...not to mail them back....

which is kinda cool, because they are fun to watch!

once upon a first Sunday in June picnic at Aunt Minerva's.....

guessing by the size of the wee ones, I'd guess about 1994...
Kenton, John, K.J., Koren, & Ashley
I took this picture, then made the frame & gave it to Grandma Grace. I got it back when they cleaned out her house, and it had remained in a drawer until last night, when I remembered it and put it up on the "FAMILY WALL" I'm working on.....old antique family pictures and then newer ones....
The family wall I'm working on....Frank & May Brown, Ralph Osborn, Lewis, Maggie & Edith Brown & a couple of my kids....

The Black Sheep

this one always makes me giggle....

Lisa's "The Age I Got" on facebook.....

The age I got was 19.
Where I lived - Trenton, Missouri
What I drove - Varied. I had a poor farm family so didn't have my own car. I lived close to my college and work so I primarily walked. When I needed to drive I would borrow one of roommates' cars or my grandparent's car, or bum a ride.
What I did - Full-time student at Trenton Junior College and worked at the local Dairy Queen
Who had my heart - My boyfriend, Alan, from Bethany. Until he wrecked his car driving me to work and we broke up. He blamed me, even though HE refused to scrape more than a little circle of ice off the windshield then pulled out in front of a taxi, which hit my door square on. The cops couldn't believe I only had scrapes and bruises. He was mad as it happened right as we were turning into the DQ parking lot and I went to work versus "supporting" him.
Now...
Age - 47
Where I live - rural Vichy, MO
What I do - Substitute teacher; soon to return to accounting
Who has my heart - My hubby of 19 years, Tom Like my status and I'll give you an age so you can repost if you want. I don't usually do these but this one is kind of fun.

Lisa's facebook post for April Fools Day....

Every year on April's Fools Day I get the urge to call dad and tell him the cows are out. I wonder if there are cows in Heaven? Of course it IS Heaven so cows would never be out anyway. .
Bryant: If they were I'm sure he'd be roundin them up. ..
Lisa: Bryant, he would also be grousing that he couldn't have us girls out there for hours helping him fix fence! ..
Teresa: My Dad would laugh and tell me it was my job to round them up and fix fence. ..
Lisa: Dad would immediately jump out of bed, throw on his boots, and head out the door, yelling at us girls to get our butts in gear. He fell for it EVERY year. LOL!! ..
Kenton: The great memories like this one you shared are the wonderful memories that will last a lifetime! May you carrie those with you for a lifetime! 11 hrs · Like · 1 ..
me: yep.....EVERY YEAR! cousin Jerry: and in Heaven they milk themselves.... ..

posted a pic of the laundry treasures I found for my laundry room at Brass Armadillo....

and my mom said: Mom used Faultless Starch on her sheer curtains and we had to put them on the forms with all the nails to stretch them out. Always ended up getting blood on them - HATED THEM!
