dated 1/23/2020 Thursday eve. My Dad loved apples and I think most any fruit.... I wrote as to why I want to be a volunteer (in letter to return to the tourism office) that it has a unique history that I enjoy sharing. And I think volunteering gives retirees a sense of purpose. Kate's mom brought a cake to Roger (maybe it wasn't a birthday cake as one couldn't use candles) a carousel cake for kids, round cake, drinking straws to stand animal crackers by and a paper plate topper.

a letter from Aunt Mary....
11/21/2019 she's decorating the music room at The Vaile with her friend Joanna.
Louise Frisbie wrote her and sent 2 letters of Grandma Shafer's (1955, a 3 cent stamp) and a 1975...to Aunt Bessie Frisbie and one of my mom's (1958) to Aunt Bessie plus a 5x7" picture of Uncle Junior military uniform and a letter from Italy to Aunt Bessie. the letter was not in good condition. I mailed them to his oldest daughter Karen. these items were found in a 20 lb. lard can in a shed when Ronnie was quite ill last spring and now livesin Cainsville. Louise is such a sweet person, I've always thought.
