Katie Dailey on KAAN Radio

Katie Dailey, Mercer R-III 3rd grade student, was interviewed on KAAN Radio, Bethany, about the School Band Carnival. She was fabulous! Her class, the superintendent, & principal all listened in her classroom when the interview aired today. Her father listened @ home, her mother & Grandma Janet both listened to the radio @ work. Now the world knows that Katie's mom likes cake!

it's a small world afterall....

after deb had a broken tooth with roots growing into her sinus cavity removed yesterday @ Facial Spectrum in Lee's Summitt, we stopped in Liberty to gas up the truck & get water for me to start taking pills...who did we pull up next to but my cousin Shelia, putting gas in her graduation present car!
I am SO proud of Shelia, she took her ambitions & dreams & did some hard work & juggling family life & I'm sure gave up a lot of sleep, but she figured out a way to make nursing school happen, she is now a working LPN! I've spent the last 13 years bitching about wanting to do something different. Shelia did something about it.
When KJ was small & going to dentist Dr Rodman at Liberty/Gladstone, Kevin would often stop & shop at Liberty Wal-Mart & ran into Shelia there several times, as well.
Liberty is a big place, it just boggles my mind that we bump into a cousin no more than we go there!

Easter Supper

Lije Dailey & Jo hosted an Easter supper for Marie Dailey Hass, Kevin, Deb, KJ, & Katie Dailey.

"Oni" Blaylock

Kevin's grandma Leona Blaylock died peacefully in her sleep at 11:40 pm 3/19/2008. A graveside service is to be held next week in Sedelia MO per email from his sister Dianna.

Missouri Western releases President's Honor Roll
Missouri Western State University announced the names of students selected to the President's Honor Roll for the 2007 fall semester. Students who have carried 12 hours or more for graded credit and have earned a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the honor.
