Truman Osborne, 20, of 1303 Wade st., was sentenced to 30 days in jail by Municipal Judge Don L Tidrick Thursday after being found guilty of requenting a tavern while under age.
Referring to Osborn's lengthy record of convictions for various offense over a 3-year period, Judge Tidrick said:
"There is nothing ina beer tavern that can corrupt you. However, the law says you can't go in such places until you are 21. You are getting the limit in my command to assess."
Carl Missildine, attorney for Osborne, appealed the case to district court, and Osborne was released under $200 bond.
