Indictments charging Robert R. Purdy, 24, Fremont, W. Va., and Richard R. Mayfair, 29, Pittsburgh, Penn., with violating the Iowa narcotic act were returned Monday by the Polk county grand jury.
They were arrested Oct.22 at a cabin at S.W. Ninth street and Rittenhouse avenue, where sheriff's deputies said they were found in possession of large quantities of marijuana weeds.
Also indicted Monday was Lyle P. Osburne, 18, accused of malicious damage to an automobile on Sept. 25.
The grand jury ignored a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor against Ruby Stewart, 1155 Ninth st., in connection with an incident on April 23.
