DONALD E. LIERLEY SR, 34 of 2408 S. 16th St., was dead on arrival at Pawating Hospital Saturday at 2:20p.m.
A tool and die maker employed with Electro-Voice, Buchanan, he was born in Gilman City, Mo, March 23 1933. He moved here from there in 1947.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn, he is survived by a daughter Constance, and a son, Donald Jr., both at home; his parents, Mr and Mrs Jesse Lierley of Niles, and his grandparents, Mr and MRs Anderson Lierley of Gilman City, MO; a sister, Mrs Kahleen Sallack and a brother James, both of Niles.
A veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Buchanan Legion, 51.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2p.m. in the Pifer Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Allen of the Fulkerson Park Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Sumnerville.
Friends are being received at the funeral home.
