MRS HARRY DORITY DIES AT HER HOME

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2P.M. THURSDAY AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

Mrs Ellen Marie Dority, wife of Harry Dority of Trenton, died about 4 p.m. Monday at her home 4431 Main St., after suffering a heart attack. Mrs Dority had been in ill health since 1946.
The body was removed to the Gipson Funeral Home where it will remain until time for the services which will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. C. Wayne Rosecrans will officiate and burial will be in the Cat Creek Cemetery north of Brimson.
Mrs Dority was born Aug. 25 1907 a daughter of Bart and Emma Maxwell Utterback. On May 20 1927 she was married at Gallatin to Harry Dority of Trenton. She had lived in and near Trenton most of her life.
She is survived by her husband of the home; her parents, Mr and Mrs Bart Utterback of 2012 Chestnut Street; two brothers, Vernon Utterback of Davenport, Ia., and Harmon Utterback of Trenton; three sisters, Mrs Victor Beal of Stanton, Mich.; Miss Roberta Utterback of Trenton and Mrs Harold Pederson of Marion, Ia. One sister preceded her in death.
Mrs Dority was a member of the Baptist Church at Brimson and the Ls to the B of LF and E.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
MRS HARRY DORITY RITES CONDUCTED

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Trenton for Mrs Harry Dority, who died Monday at her home after suffering a heart attack.
Rev. C. Wayne Rosecrans, church pastor, was the officiating minister. Music was furnished by Nevin Adams who sang, "In The Sweet Bye and Bye" and "The Lord's Prayer." Miss Janice Spencer played the organ accompaniment.
Pallbearers were W.L. Davis, George Boyer, Warner Boylan, PAul McArtor, Jr., Tom Davidson and Rex Oren. Burial was in the Cat Creek Cemetery north of Brimson. The services were under the direction of the Gipson Funeral Home.
Attending the rites from out of town were Mr and Mrs Sheldon Utterback, Mr and Mrs Irlin Mays, James Utterback, Mr and Mrs Harley McQuerry, Mr and Mrs Wilbur Utterback and Mr and Mrs Morton Utterback, all of Bethany; Mr and Mrs Victor Beal, Stanton, Mich.; Mr and Mrs Harmon Utterback, Kansas City; Mr and Mrs Harold Pederson, Marion, Ia.; Vernon Utterback, Davenport, Ia.; and Mr and Mrs Ralph Keith and children, Anna Mae and Jackie, of St Joseph.
