our own hometown boy visiting home

Duane Dailey, professor emeritus, Columbia, who writes a column called "Hometown Boy" here at The Mirror and which is published in several other newspapers, visits his hometown during the Mercer Homecoming celebration. Duane worked with many of the great journalists who inhabited and still inhabit The University of Missouri School of Journalism. Duane taught & retired, or should I say semi-retired and still teaches and writes in the Agricultural/Journalism sequence at MU. He is a mentor and a colleague, and example and a friend. I think this image captured on my old Nikon FM2 and Tri-X film does him justice. thank you for all you do Duane.
