Graveside services for Bobby W. McCullough Sr., 76, of Bettendorf, IA, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be 9:00AM Wednesday at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Anyone wishing to attend should be at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, by 8:30AM. Mr. McCullough died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Bobby was born June 7, 1933 in Trenton, MO, the son of Robert and Mary Johnson McCullough. Mary died shortly after his birth and was raised by Robert and Vermadean McCullough. He served in the Korean Conflict from 1952-53. He married Margaret Sands April 3, 1998 in Rock Island, IL. Bobby drove a truck for 3I Truck Lines before he retired. He loved to travel with his wife. Survivors include his wife, Marge McCullough of Bettendorf, children (spouse), Gail (Lester) Hastings of Geneseo, IL, Bobby and Jamie McCullough Jr. of Colona, IL, Anna (Richard) Roselle of Colorado, Heidi (Shaun) Jeffries of TN; step-children, Kathy Green of Rock Island, David Walters and Judy of East Moline, Tammy Walters and Bill of IA, and Todd Walters of Rock Island; grandchildren Caleb Hastings, Heath, Zack, and Mindy McCullough, Amanda Scott, Destiny Roselle, Addison and Miles Jeffries; 7 great-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Jerry Sands, Freeport, IL, and his loyal dog, Rowdy. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Billy, and grandson, Shane Entwistle.
