I bought a banana split (the first time in years) and while I was eating it, I was reminded of my very first Banana Split. The man below is my grandfather Elmer C. Hudson (Army WWI). He took my sister Coleen and me to Woolworth's in Dodge City, KS and treated us to banana splits! Thank you, Grandpa, for that special memory and thank you for your service.
