The news of the death of Judge J.F. Bryant at his home in this city Tuesday afternoon, January 16, at 2 o'clock, was a shock to our people as not many knew of his illness. "Uncle Joe" Bryant was one of the veteran members of the northwest Missouri bar, had lived in Harrison county over 60 years, and was one of our wealthiest citizens. He would have reached his seventy-seventh milestone next Sunday.
