Two teen-age escapees from the state training school for boys at Eldora were convinced Sunday that a fugitive's life is not very enjoyable.
The boys, Truman Osborne, 17, of Des Moines, and Donald Rohiff, 17, of Davenport, gave themselves up Saturday to James McLaughlin, juvenile probation officer.
They escaped from the school last Wednesday and had hidden in fields. They told McLaughlin that they ate only one meal since Wednesday. They are being held at Polk county jail pending return to Eldora.
