Pleads Guilty; He's Tired Of Stocking Feet

Robert A Osburne of 2509 S.E. Sixth st., appeared before Municipal Judge Howard W Brooks in his stocking feet Tuesday and announced he wished to plead guilty of carrying concealed weapons.
Osburne said he wanted to get the case over with to "ease his aching feet." He said he had spent 14 days in jail awaiting hearing without footward because police took his boots away from him as evidence.
Detective James McCarthy appeared in the courtroom carrying the boots. McCarthy said a leather casing containing a knife was found sewed inside the boots when Osburne was arrested.
Police said Osburne's boots-minus the knife and holster-would be returned to him after he is sentenced.
