Mr and Mrs Bernard Axsom of Spickard announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Ann Axsom of St Thomas MO to Tom H. Butler, son of Mrs Ellen Butler of Belle, Mo and the late Hieber Butler.
Miss Axsom is a 1985 graduate of Princeton High School, a 1987 graduate of North Central Missouri College at Trenton, and a 1990 graduate of Northeast Missouri State University at Kirksville. She is employed as an auditor by the Missouri State Auditor's office in Jefferson City.
Butler, a graduate of Linn Technical School, is employed as a facsimile technician by Modern Business Systems in Jefferson City.
The wedding will be held at 2p.m. June 4 1994, at the First Christian Church in Belle.
Miss Axsom is the granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Vermal Brown of Trenton.

Former Resident is Promoted
Lisa Axsom, formerly of Spickard, has been promoted to the position of in-charge auditor in the Missouri Auditor's office.
Ms. Axsom is a CPA in the state office.
