James Yancy Creswell was burried close Sherman, Texas under a Pecan Tree by the side of the road. He was sick, they thought it would help him to travel he got worse and died, Grandma went, got there after he was burried.
Grandfather Criswell was named for a Uncle that lived in Texas.
wow---10 kids. one died as a small child, one from typhoid, one never seen again after he left for the Civil War. I love the names...Griffie, Suffrona, Erasta's, Leosby, Lenza, Ballard....I didn't know anything about these people until I started typing, now I am fascinated...
