Mrs. Floyd Frisbie and children visited Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Alcinda Craig.
A birthday dinner was given Thursday for Mrs. Alcinda Craig's sixty-sixth birthday at her home in Saline. The dinner was a surprise for her as she was only expecting her two daughters, Mrs. Ross Shafer and sons and Mrs. Floyd Frisbie and daughter, Mamie. At the noon hour a truckload of her children and their families and J.M. Craig of Des Moines, Ia. arrived with well-filled baskets. Five large cakes were the main feature of the dinner. Mrs. Craig received many nice gifts, one of which was a lovely congoleum rug. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Ulhler and family; Mr. and Mrs. John Craig and family; Mr. and Mrs. Monty Acott and daughter, Barbara; Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen and daughter, Frances; Mrs. Hallie Graves and J.M. Craig; all of Des Moines. Mrs. Ross Shafer, Ralph and Junior; Mrs. Alfred Axsom and daughter Mary Jean; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Frisbie and daughter Mamie; and Jim and John Frisbie. The day was spent in visiting and playing games.
