IN HONOR OF MRS. ANNA BRYANT
The Echo Literary Club, of this city, held a very delightful picnic in the Frisby grove at the tourists' camp ground, on the Jefferson highway, last Friday afternoon. Four car loads of ladies enjoyed the pleasant outing and lovely visit with their old-time friend and club member. Mrs. Bryant was a valued and congenial member of the club for many years and was greatly missed when she moved to California. The ladies hope to have her here again some time as an active worker, as she is a wide-awake and jolly member. A delicious luncheon was served, after which fond adieus were spoken and best wishes expressed for the happiness of the honor guest in her distant western home.
