Mrs. William P. Bryant entertained delightfully, at her home last Friday afternoon in honor of Miss Kathleen Neff, a bride-to-be.

Miss Neff and Mrs. Bryant recieved the guests. About 70 guests responded to the invitations.

Mrs. Bryant wore pale blue organdie and Miss Neff looked charmingly girlish in pale yellow georgette. Miss Marie Bryant, in a dainty white frock, served at the punch table, which was tastefully decorated with autumn leaves.

And throughout the rooms a wealth of autumn leaves, amber, burnt yellow, crimson, blood red, russet, fawn color, of shading indescribable, vied for first place in the decorating scheme with festoons of the reddest of red hearts and cunning cupids, the symbols the world over of true love.

Mrs. Bryant, always particularly unique, original, and brilliant in her conceptions, fairly outdid herself upon this occassion and gave a magnificient entertainment to her guests.

Miniature Wedding

The miniature wedding was the cunningest, cleverest bit of acting ever seen, each little tot looking and acting his or her part with perfect precision, wholly unconscious of the perfect imitation of a real wedding.

Then came the guessing contest, Kathleen and Melverne being easily guessed but October a puzzle to all but the wise ones, Kathleen one among the wisest, for October will always be to her a lovely month - beyond compare.

Everyone was requested to give advice to the bride-to-be and if she treasures it all in her heart, woe be to the man of her choice.

Even in the delicious refreshments the momentous event was apparent. Many and sincere were the congratulations showered upon Kathleen. May her ocean of the future be calm and where her bark can safely sail.
