Vicki Bever Doze shared her photo. 3 hrs · Jared and stopped at the DQ today because it was so hot and humid. I bought a banana split (the first time in years) and while I was eating it, I was reminded of my very first Banana Split. The man below is my grandfather Elmer C. Hudson (Army WWI). He took my sister Coleen and me to Woolworth's in Dodge City, KS and treated us to banana splits! Thank you, Grandpa, for that special memory and thank you for your service. The date below the picture should be 1897-1995.
