1935-2020
Columbia, MO: Fred Duane Dailey, 84, Columbia, MO passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at a Columbia, MO hospital.
He was born on November 23, 1935 in Lineville, Missouri the son of Howard Karl Dailey and Marie Dailey Hass.
Duane was a graduate of Mercer High School. He served in the United States Army and then went on to graduate from and teach at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbia, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Frank Schreffler and son-in-law, Lyle Harris.
Duane is survived by his daughters, Janet Burke (Bob), Lutz, FL, Lucinda Dailey, Ozark, MO; grandson, Samuel Lawrence; brother, Elijah Dailey, Mercer, MO; sister, Deanna Schreffler, Chico, CA and his special friend, Linda Myers.
Duane has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO.
