Funeral services for Lawrence Dale Brown were held at 2p.m. Sunday at the Mount Pleasant Number One Baptist Church, northwest of Brimson. The Rev. Larry Kackley officated.
Mr. Brown, 65, a resident of the Cat Creek Comminty, northwest of Brimson, died Thursday Sept 17 1987 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Special music was provided by Eugene Oneal, who sang "Going Down the Valley," and "Because He Lives." Mrs. Jackie Gibler played the piano accompaniment.
Pallbearers were Frank Lewis, George Peugh, Tom Brown, Bill TenHulzen, Bill Hogan and Les Ratliff.
Burial was in the Cat Creek Cemetery, northwest of Brimson, under the direction of the Blackmore-Whitaker Funeral Home.
