Isreal Chaney, 99, of Route 1 Gilman City, died Tuesday Feb 4 1992 at the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.
Funeral services were hedl at 2p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Gilman City. The Rev. Clay Wells officiated.
Christine WArd played the accompaniment for Bill and BArbara WHitten, who sang "In The Garden" and "Precious Memories."
Grandsons and great grandsons of Mr Chaney served as pallbearers.
Burial was in the Gilman City Masonic Cemetery, unde the direction of the Roberson-Polley Funeral Home of Gilman City.
Mr. Chaney was born Dec 28 1892 in Harrison Co Mo the son of John E and Clarinda Lovell Chaney. He was married to Zula Chaney on May 30 1917 in Bethany. She died Jan 17 1990.
Mr Chaney, who was a retired farmer, was a member of the Gilman City First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter Rebecca Cottrell of Gilman City; one son John Chaney of Sun City, West, Ariz; one brother Walter Chaney of Trenton; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
