Karlan Rae Dishon and Shawn Crawford, both of Rolla, announce their engagement and approaching wedding.
Parents of the couple are Mr and Mrs Carlos Finney of Lathrop, and Mr and Mrs Bob Crawford of St Joseph.
The bride-elect received a bachelor of social work degree from Missouri Western State College at St Joseph. She is coordinator of the At-Rish Program for the Rolla School District.
The future groom is a 1993 graduate of Missouri State Western State College. He is currently a graduate student, pursuing a degree in mathematics at the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is employed as a graduate assistant at the university, and also works for Central Missouri Vocational Education Consortium. He was in the Navy from 1987 to 1994.
The wedding will be held at 7p.m. June 10 1995 at Twin Spires in St Joseph. A poolside reception will follow at the Ramada Inn in St Joseph. All friends and family are invited to attend.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Paul Crawford of Trenton and the late Amber Crawford, and Vermal and Grace Brown, also of Trenton.
