Mr & Mrs Leland Maxwell

Mr and Mrs Leland Maxwell of Marshall will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at 2p.m. Sunday May 6 in the Fellowship Hall of the Melbourne Baptist Church. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
Mrs Maxwell, the former Eva Jane Brown of Melbourne, and Mr Maxwell were married May 7 1940 in Gilman City. They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs Marsha Williams of Marshall. They also have two granddaughters, Erin and Erica Williams.
Mr Maxwell is the brother of Mrs Vermal Brown of Trenton; Mrs Minverva Brown of Brimson; and John Maxwell of Grove, Okla. Mrs Maxwell is the sister of Tom V. Brown of Trenton.

We want to take this method of expressing our deepest thanks to all those responsible for the beautiful reception held at the Melbourne Baptist Church, May 5 in observance of our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
We are especially appreciative to Leland's sisters, Minerva Brown and Grace Brown, our daughter, Marsha Williams, to Sarah Brown, and to the ladies who prepared the refreshments.
To those who sent cards, we also express our sincere gratitude. We shall remember fondly each of the kindnesses shown us by our friends on this occasion.
