[highway 65 1954-1955]...paving will begin a mile north of princeton, adjacent ot the hadley j. hickman property, and extend north about 1000 feet on the same location as the existing pavement. it then takes an approximate 1.2 mile relocation northeasterly, east of the present pavement, through or adjacent to the properties of Alvin Boyd.....

i have a bit more to say about the highway 65 project and in the july 15 1954 issure of the post telegraph is the following:"the present highway between princeton and lineville is narrow and has 29 sharp curves. it is so bad that much traffic goes over other highways. it connects the modern well built strips of highway 65 which end a short distance north of princeton and in south lineville.
right of way has been secured from approximately 40 property owners...mr and mrs alvin boyd...virgil and jessie shroyer...
