Truman and Robert Adrian Osburne were in more trouble Thursday.
The brothers, both of whom have had long records of law violations, have been accused by another brother, Wilbur, 35, of stealing Wilbur's auto Wednesday night near Redfield.
Sheriff Evan Burger of Dallas County said he was called to the Jess Ramsey residence, just south of Redfield, shortly before Wednesday midnight.
"Beaten".
Wilbur, bloody and bruised, told the sheriff that Truman, 20, and Robert Adrian, 22, had "beat him up" and taken his 1947 Ford about 11 p.m.
The sheriff said there apparently had been a party at the Ramsey home when the scuffle among the brothers occurred.
Wilbur filed a charge of larceny of a motor vehicle in Adel. The car was later found in front of 409 Fifteenth st. in Des Moines at 2:20a.m. Thursday, police said.
Court.
Officers were still looking for the younger brothers.
Truman is due in municipal court here at 10a.m. Saturday for a hearing on an intoxication charge.
The hearing originally was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, but was continued to Saturday. Truman is free on $300 bond on that charge.
