John George, 91, died around 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Mr George had suffered from a heart condition and was seriously ill last spring, but had improved, and had been able to walk to town a few times.
Tuesday morning he sat in his yard and talked to grandchildren of Cliff Mossburg who were visiting next door to Mr George. He left the children and went into the house around noon. When the children didn't see him again, one of the youngsters went into the house and returned immediately to tell the others Mr George was lying on the floor. Neighbors investigated and called his sons Shelva and Edgar, who live in Cainsville, but Mr George was pronounced dead on arrival of a doctor.
Besides the sons, survivors include a daughter Mrs Gertrude Osborne, of Blythedale, and another daughter living in South Dakota.
As the news was printed funeral arrangements had not been made.
