Services for Maxon J. Kephart, 53, of 6300 SE Second st. who died of luekemia Thursday at the Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 1:30p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton-Lilly funeral home. burial in Glendale Cemetery.
Mr Kephart, a maintenance dept. employee at The Des Moines Register and Tribune since 1953, had been hospitalized since Feb 20.
Born at Hiteman, he lived in Davis City before moving here 33 years ago. He attended the Southwest Alliance Church.
Surviving are his widow, Vera; three daughters Mrs Elinora Gibbens and Mrs Lois Teer of Des Moines, and Mrs Vonden Anderson of Baton Rouge, La.; a son Maxon E. of Hastings, Neb., and 11 grandchildren.
