Walter F. Barr Rites Planned

Services for Walter Francis Barr, 45, of 1529 E. Aurora ave, a mechanic at Brady Motorfrate, Inc will be Saturday noon at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Mr Barr died Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after an 11 month illness. Born at Carlisle, he had lived in DesMoines 24 years. He was a member of theTeamsters Union Local 147.
Surviving are his widow, Doreen; two daughters MRs Marcia Owen and MArlene Barr, a son Danny, and his mother, Mrs Alice Barr, all of Des Moines, a sister Mrs Aline Grant of Pleasant Hill and two grandchildren.
