Woman Killed

Corydon,IA- Mrs E.G. (Minnie) Warren, 67, was killed Saturday night and her husband, 73, was injured critically when their pickup truck was struck by a car about three-fourths of a mile south of the Highway 65-2 junction, southwest of here.
Highway patrolmen said Warren pulled off the road to his mailbox, then started to cross the road into his driveway when a car driven by Gilbert H. Lawson, 38, of 2215 Twenty-third st., Des Moines, struck the truck.
Lawson was unhurt. His wife Donna, 30, suffered shock, and her cousin, MRs Della Fuller, 2311 Logan st., Des Moines, suffered chest and head injuries.
The two women and two of the Lawson children were brought to the hospital here, Daniel, 7, with face cuts and Lavella, 10, with a broken left leg. Two other children, William Lawson, 8, and a step-daughter of the Lawson's, Donna Schaffer, 12, were unhurt.
