Sharon K. Crawford
1943-2010
Sharon K. Crawford, 67, St Joseph, went to be with her dear Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought it for five years and beat it twice.
Sharon was born September 17, 1943, in Trenton, Mo to Vermal & Grace (Maxwell) Brown. She was preceded in death by her father.
She married Bobbie P. Crawford on August 20, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and worked side by side her husband in their construction business. She especially loved bowling.
She is survived by her husband Bobbie of the home; children Bruce (Marva) Crawford, St Joseph; Connie (Bob) Hunter, Osborn, MO; Rob (Diana) Crawford and Robin (Bobby) Shalz, St Joseph; Chris (Robin) Crawford, Osborn; and Shawn (Karlan) Crawford, Liberty, Mo; mother Grace Brown, Trenton; sisters Charlene Smith, Kansas City, MO and Janet Axsom, Spickard, MO; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Mrs Crawford has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
