Aunt Dona's Gingersnaps

350 degrees 12 minutes

Beat together
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup oleo
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses

sift and add
4 cups flour
3 tsp soda
2 tsp cinnamin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp allspice.

beat well. Drop by tsp in dish of sugar and roll until crated. Place aobut 2 1/" apart on greased cooky sheet.
Bake until top crack. Cool briefly then remove from cooky sheet and finish cooling on town & cake rack.
Store in airtight container for chewy cookies. Store in loose fitting container for crisp. This is a favorite of all my family.
