What happened to Porter Wagoner's wife and children?

His second marriage, to Ruth Olive Williams, ended in divorce after 40 years. He had three children: Richard, Debra, and Denise. The footage of his 50th anniversary celebration at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year showed him choking up as he thanked his children for being there. 5 years ago Report Abuse ISAWMART IS CORRECT, i'd like to add just a little more if i can..his son Richard lives on the Land where porter's house is, porter had a cabin type house built for him about 25 years ago,he helped porter out with the cows and horses and such... he is a minister-his oldest daughter Denise owns and operates a chain of stores sort of like wal-mart but not quite as large, his youngest debra works at Bass pro shops and would usually fill in on stage at the opry singing the dolly duets with him-he was on very good terms with his ex-wife till the end- even had a few pictures of her on the wall in his home.
