Thos A. Bailey from Deed James Witten
This deed made this 4th day of October 1873 between James Witten of the first part and Thomas S Bailey of the other part both of the Tazewell County and state of Virginia Witheforth: That for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred Dollars paid by the said Thomas S Bailey to James S Whitley the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, the said James Witten doth by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey to the said Thomas S Bailey with general warranty, a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Tazewell County on the head waters of Bleshers Mill Creek, containing seventy five acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows, to wit. Beginning on a Spanish oak and White oak on a spour of Morrifses Strob running N 38 West to a red oak in the south side of a march. Thence running with the County road in a stooping white oak thence same course to a (? winst?), thence the same direction to a rock in the lower end of a field next to David Allen and thence a few steps furthur to a conditional line between said tract and David Allens land, thence, with the said conventional line to Josiah McPiecies(?) old line, and with the said line to the Beginning. This deed made the 14th of July in the year 1873 betwen H.A.Harman of the first part and William W Harman of the 2nd part whereforth: That where as the commonwealth of Virginia on the (blank) day of (blank) 18 (blank) granted unto the said H A Harman & Robert H Taylor the tract of land hereinafter described and whereas the said H A Harman on teh (blank) day of (blank) 1856 sold his interest in said tract of land (being one undivided half thereof, to the said Robert H Taylor, and said Robert H Taylor having sold and conveyed said tract of land to said William W Harman by deed which of record int eh County Court Clerks office of Tazewell County in Deed Book No. 13 PAge (blank) now in consideration of the premises & by directions of said Robert H Taylore the said H A Harman
