Aunt Minerva collection. this is a sad page, she lost her first child, who was stillborn, and Gale was her only living child. she lost Uncle Dale, then she lost Gale. She had the family centennial farm and all this genealogy and no one to leave it to.

FORKLIFT ACCIDENT

Air conditioner falls, kills workman.

A large air conditioner fell from a forklift Wednestday, killing an employee of Olinger Heavy Hauling in Kansas City.

Lawrence Gale Brown, 42, was working near the forklift when the air conditioner fell on him shortly before 9:30 a.m. He was taken to Independence Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to ambulance reports.

Brown lived in Kansas City and Brimson, Mo.

Lawrence Gale Brown, 42, rural Brimson, Mo., died Oct. 26, 1994, at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, north of Brimson; burial in Cat Creek Cemetery, north of Brimson. The family suggests contributions to the cemetery association. Mr. Brown was born in Trenton, Mo., and lived in Brimson most of his life. He was a mechanic for the Olinger Heavy Hauling Co. in Kansas City. Survivors include his mother, Minerva Brown of the home. (Arrangements: Whitaker-Eads, Trenton.)

Larence Gale Brown, 42, a resident of Route 2, Brimson, died Wednesday morning, OCt. 26, 1994, at the Independence Regional Health Care Center from injuries he suffered at work earlier that morning.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Pleasant Number One (Cat Creek) Baptist Church, north of Brimson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

There is no family visiation scheduled at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home at Trenton.

Mr. Brown was born June 19 1952 in Trenton, Mo. the son of Lawrence Dale and Minerva Maxwell Brown. He graduated from Ruskin High School in Hickman Mills, Mo. Mr. Brown was employed as a mechanic for Olinger Heavy Hauling. He had lived in the Kansas City area most of his life while also maintaining a residence at Route 2, Brimson.

Mr. Brown is survived by his mother, Minerva Brown of Route 2, Brimson.

MR. Brown was preceded in death by his father, and one brother.

Contributions have been suggested to the Cat Creek Cemetery in memory of Mr. Brown. These may be left at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Lawrence Gale Brown were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Pleasant Number One (Cat Creek) Baptist Church. The Rev. Ron Ratliff officiated.

Special music was provided by Bill Orndorff, who sang "Whispering Hope" and "It is Well With My Soul". Betty Frances Hall played the piano accompaniment.

Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.
