the smells from this tiny room.....always cold RC on the bottom shelf of the fridge. when you arrived, Grandma would whip up a pitcher of iced tea and a cake, lickety-split. we had breakfast at the tiny kitchen table, and supper too, when it was just Grandma & Grandpa and us girls. doing dishes with cousins after family dinners...dishing up your leftovers to take home in butter bowls...we took Grandma a cake for her 90th birthday. she blew out her candles and ate her cake at that tiny table. they had their prescriptions and over the counter medications lined up on the windowsills in easy reach. there was a lot of love in that tiny house.
