It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, John Axsom, who passed away on February 25, 2023 . John started his employment here at the Adair County Missouri Sheriff's Office and Detention Center in 2005 as a Correctional Officer. He was promoted to Jail Administrator/Director in 2009. Funeral Services are pending. We will all miss him more than words can express.
