aunt sarah and cousin bess
letter rec'd from mary johnson sept 26 2006.....An old time pic of Bess Mashino and Sarah was sent to me by Aunt Dona 1-2 years ago and
I'd never heard of them. Then Mom wrote in her 1939 diary that Grm. Shafer had stayed with AUnt Sarah when Mom was in Leon hospital. I found them listed under
Alloway-McClure in Aunt Dolly's work. I interpret that Amanda Alloway married a McClure and later John Osborn. Richard Uhler promised to write me info about Bess & Sarah
but hasn't. A sister of Sarah married Madean's grandpa Enoch Newton Willis......If I'm interpreting this rigth Sarah was great-grandma Alcinda's half-sister. It gets complicated!
