60th Wedding Anniversary with picture {deb dailey collection}
HArley and sylvia flanagan will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. a card shower has been requested by their daughter virginia matson and husband curtis, and their grandchildren, and KErry Matson. our sympathy to the family of madeline boyd who died on april 13. madeline's son jimmy boyd from san jose, california, and her niece, mary edith meinecke, rockport, missouri were with her. she also leaves a daughter-in-law and grandchildren and great grandchildren, san jose, california, and a niece, nancy george, cainsville, and nephews tim, charles, and john duff. her funeral was april 16 at the cainsville united methodist church with burial in oaklawn cemetery.

June 11 1959 jerry lee haggard, son of mr. and mrs. oral haggard, and freda axtom (typo, typo, typo!) of trenton were married saturday morning at the methodist church, in trenton mo. mr. and mrs. rex berndt were their attendants. the couple will make their home in bettenforf where he has employment. {deb dailey collection}

Machelle Lawson and Dakota of Bethany were Wednesday visitors of Mr. and MRs. Dean Shafer. They all went to Mercer to eat in celebration of Machelle's birthday.

Christmas night guests of junior and louise frisbie were their daughter, Barb Wilkerson and daughter, Rachel, Mexico, Mo, Gene and Paula Frisbie, Jeanne, Micheal, and Mandy. Eagleville, PAtty and Brad O'Neal, Carlin, Kelly and Lynn, Ron and Sherry Barton, Brandi, Garrett and Danion and Richard Frisbie and friend Marsha. Mr and MRs George Walter, Flagstaff Ariz. were guests of her uncle, Albert Gray, Monday to Thursday Sept 25 to Sept. 28.
Thursday Albert and the Walters went to Buffalo Center, Iowa, and visited relatives. On Sunday, Oct 1 a family dinner was held at his sisters home, Mrs. Leona Haselroth. Cake and ice cream were served in honor of Albert's birthday which was Oct 2. {deb dailey collection}
