Wilma Imogene Frisbie, daughter of Orley and Elsie V. (Hellyer) Smith, was born June 5, 1934, at Corydon, Iowa, and died at her home in Peculiar, Missouri, Sunday, January 6, 2008, at the age of 73 years.
Wilma was a homemaker. She was formerly of Cainsville, Missouri, and Mt. Moriah, Missouri.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Ruth Dunn (and son-in-law, Gary) of Peculiar, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Elsie, Jennifer, James, & Kimberly; by three great-grandsons, David, Donnie, and Joshua; by three brothers, Doyle Smith of Cainsville, MO, Floyd Smith of Long Dale, North Carolina, and David Smith of Corydon, IA; by six sisters, Mary Lou Payton of Valrico, Florida, Joan Sanderson of Mont Rose, California, Joyce Miller of Sacramento, CA, Marilyn Miller of Jefferson City, MO, Carol Clark of Leon, IA, and Pamela Felker of Baldwin, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her step-mother, Effie.
Funeral services were held on Friday January 11, 2008, at the Stoklasa Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Victor Buntin officiating. Burial was at the Freedom Cemetery, Princeton, MO.
