does anyone have any information about Oscar & Leta SCHAEFFER. They had a son Clifford who was born in Blythedale, MO Dec. 15 1943, he had a sister Patricia & a brother George. Clifford & Patricia were removed from the family, Clifford was adopted at age 3 & raised in Chillicothe as Robert NORMAN. According to a judge, Oscar had 2 older daughters. Leta disappeared from the area in the mid-40's.
The name SCHAEFFER came from official adoption records & was legally advertised in the Chillicothe Constitution Tribune in 1948.
I believe that Oscar was a brother of my great grandfather John William Ross SHAFER. Robert is looking for any information about his family or any pictures.
