"How blessed the dead
who die in the Lord
For their works follow them"
thus sayeth his word.
Though we cry out in anguish
and dark is the way
we know that He giveth
strength for the day.
This comforts the heart
though tears dim the eyes.
of him, who on God's precious promise relies.
So we may look upward,
our hope fixed on God.
And follow the pathway
our loved one has trod
loved one has trod.
