Services for George H Chapman, 52, of 3980 NE 43rd Court will be at 10:30a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial in Goshen Cemetery at Lucas.
Mr Chapman, a native of Russell, suffered a heart attack and was dead on arrival Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
A Des Moines resident fourteen years, he was a maintenance workman at the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company Des Moines Plant. He was a member of United Rubber Workers Local 310.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice, four sons, George C., William D., Larry D., & Randy J. all of Des Moines, five daughters, Mrs Frances Mazzaferro of Goodlettsville, TN, & Mrs Sandra Smith, Mrs Donna Brown, Mrs. Janet Fredregill and Mrs Leon Erickson, all of Des Moines, his father George O Chapman of Chariton, a sister Mrs Inez Zimmerman of Des Moines and twentyfive grandchildren.
