Cora Landphair

Cora Vianna, the fourth child of a family of six, and daughter of John & Elizabeth Frisbie was born at Saline, Missouri, September 3 1886 and passed away at the Decatur County Hospital, December 15 1960 at the age of 74 years, two months and 20 days. She spent several years teaching in rural schools in Mercer County, Missouri.
On October 22 1914 she was united in marriage to Erneset T Landphair. To this union three children were born.
She accepted Christ as her Savior early in life and was a member of the River View Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, a faithful companion, and a good neighborn. For the past few years she has been in failing health, but never complaining. Since the death of her companion, July 31 1960, she has lived at the Frost Nursing Home in Leon, Iowa.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Leland and Kenneth, both of Kansas City, Missouri, one dauther Norma Dykes of Des Moines, and a step-daughter, Wilma Finney, also of Des Moines Iowa. Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers Alva Frisbie, Pleasanton, Iowa, Glen Frisbie of Leon Iowa, and two sisters Clara Booth, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Minnie Higdon of Pleasanton Iowa.
