Services for Mrs. Ole J. Ferkin, 68, of 1620 Des Moines st. will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Ferkin died of a heart attack Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She had been ill two years. Born at Ruthven, Mrs. Ferkin came to Des Moines from Marshalltown 14 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Church at Marshalltown.
Surviving are her husband, Three daughters, Mrs. Mureen Berger of Des Moines, Mrs. Josie Perkins of Luana, and Mrs. Mayme Ringis of Alhambra, Cal., a son, Arthur of Whittier, Cal, two sisters Mrs Charles Macy of Torrington, Wyo., and Mrs. James Small of Liscomb; three brothers, Oliver Kjormoe of Marshalltown, Amos Kjormoe of Long Beach, Cal., and Melvin Kjormoe of Torrington, Wyo., and nine grandchildren.
