Mrs. Helen Berger of 1620 Des Moines st. has received notice from the air force of the death in Germany last Saturday of her husband, A/2c Robert E. Berger, 20.
Airman Berger died of injuries suffered in an auto accident, the telegram stated.
An instrument specialist, Airman Berger had been stationed at the air base at Sembach, Germany, since July 1955. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Jack Berger of 1620 Des Moines St.
He was home on leave from Germany last August, and was married Aug. 9 to the former Helen Elliott.
