Truman Osburne, 20, was in the Polk County jail Wednesday awaiting hearing Oct. 12 on an assault and battery charge filed by his brother, Russell, 26.
Truman pleaded innocent when arraigned on the charge Tuesday afternoon before Municipal Judge Howard W Brooks. He was ordered held in jail in lieu of $500 bond.
Russell claimed his brother struck him early Saturday morning when he objected to Truman's playing a record player at the Russell's home, 703 Seventh st. Truman gave his address as 1304 Wade st.
