Truman Osburne, 20(this is the 3rd way I have found Osburne/Osborne/Osbourn spelled!)
who was sentenced to 60 days in jail by Municipal Judge Harry B Grund Nov 1 on two jury convictions of assault and battery, was given a 30-day sentence on a similar charge Friday.
Municipal Judge Howard W Brooks ruled the 30-day sentence is to run concurrently with the earlier sentence.
Osburne did not appear in court, but was represented by an attorney, James McGrane. The charge was filed by Osburne's brother, Russell, who claimed Truman beat him during an argument at his home over the playing of phonograph records.
